NEWTON KINO’S STRATFORD WEEKLY REPORT.

At the Eaymarket on Saturday pigs were penned in larger numbers than usual. There was a good demand for all clashes, practically every pen being cleared at the hammer. I quote— Slips and weariers 7s 6d to 19s 6d (the latter price was for a pen of well grown eight weeks Berkshire cross), small stores £1 Is to £1 7s 6d, horses £9 10s, set harness £8 10s, gig £ll, sundries at usual rates .
