FEIGNING MADNESS.

Jaenicke, who was arrested las Tune in connection with a charge oj espionage, was sentenced to six year* imprisonment. The doctors in th asylum concluded that he was an ex ceptionally accomplished simulan; Suspicion was first aroused throng Jaenicke running to a window o” hearing the cry ‘fa Zeppelin airship! though ho had previously feignec deafness. Jaenicke, who is of hei culean proportions, was brought to court heavily chained, and was tried in secret.
A cablegram from Berlin on Jun 27th, 1912, stated: The trial of Glauss has commenced in camera at Liepzig. He is accused of conspiring with Elders, navy signaller, to sal! Great Britain code books, with an accomplice, a policeman named Jaenicke, who has gone mad.
