STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOUR.

AT CAPPING CEREMONIES. [Per Press Association.! Wellington, June 27. The question of the disturbance at the capping ceremony yesterday was dealt with at the meeting of the Wellington College Board of Governors to-day. On the motion of the chairman, Mr Brandon, it was resolved “That this Board strongly disapproves of the actions of students of Victoria College in connection with the conferring of degrees awarded by the University of New Zealand, and insists that candidates show respect for constituted authority, and directs the principals of both Wellington Colleges to take such steps as they may think best to impress upon their pupils the necessity for such respect.”
