NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The Taranaki Hardware Company’s second annual sale commences to-day. and will last for four weeks, during which-time special bargains in household ironmongery, crashing bargains in crockery and glassware, and great discounts on nearly every line, offer a real bargain feast. A cordial invitation to visit the firm’s premises is given and special preparation to receive the crowds of customers is being made. A special announcement with regard to this sale will ho found on page seven of this issue. The Wallace Distributor, claimed to he the only machine to work manure distribution successfully on ordinary hills, may ho had from Mr Newton King, agent. Mr Newton King’s usual weekly sales at the Mart and Haymarket on Saturday. Messrs. Webster, Hobson and Co. have received instructions from Mr W. M. Bayly to sell the whole of his pedigree stock at their Stratford yards on June 4th. Particulars appear in another column. p
