U. A. O. D.

About thirty members of the Stratford Druids’ Lodge met last evening to bid adieu to their secretary, Bro. C. G. Bundle, who leaves on Monday for Napier. Bro. Bundle, by his keen and courteous attention to the duties of bis office, had endeared himself to the brethren, and this was fully expressed by those present, who all regretted the member’s departure. After several brethren had spoken, Bro. M. C. Aagaard, A.D., on behalf of the lodge, presented Bro. Bundle with a gold watch and chain, fully inscribed, and wished him every success in Ids new sphere of labour. “Auld Lang Syne” was then sung by those present, and hearty cheers given for Mr and Mrs Bundle and family, after which the meeting dispersed.
