A big gathering in the Town Hall, the Lord Mayor presiding, welcomed Mr Evelyn Wrench, organiser of the Oversea® Club, who explained that the object of the Society was to draw together in a bond of conmvJcship the peoples living under the folds of the British Flag. The organisation v.as absolutely democratic.
