WIN FOR LEVER BROS. (Received 12.(30 p.m.) London, March 18. Brunner Mond’s application to restrain Lever Bros, from , using the applicant’s process for purifying oils has been dismissed. Defendants admitted that the process was worth a quarter of a million a year, lint they claimed prior knowledge, thus invalidating the patent. SIMPLE RUSSIAN LADY. Berlin, March 18. Swindlers induced a Russian lady to entrust them with her hand hag, containing jewels worth £6250, whilst she visited a cinematograph show. The men then decamped. ALLEL ED ESP IONAG E. Bcrgmann, a Erenehman, has been arrested at Met/, on a charge of espionage.
