SURVEY TO BE COMMENCED SHORTLY.

FROM TE ROTI

Matters in connection with, the railway from Opunake have advanced a further stage, and in a few days’ time the survey will be commenced of part of the route recommended by the Opunake Railway Commission. Mr C. J. McKenzie,, resident engineer at Stratford, this morning informed a reporer of the “Stratford Evening Post,” that Mr F. S. Dyson, assistant-engineer, would be in the district shortly, and would start immediately on a survey of the route from To Roti, live miles south of Eltham.
