EASTER GYMKHANA AT STRATFORD.

One of the events at the Stratford Gymkhana which should create great public interest is the Fancy Poster Race Handicap. The competitors in this race will wear a fancy costume advertising any business. A splendid opportunity is hero given the merchants of Taranaki to advertise their businesses in some novel way. In India, the home of this kind of sport, it is said, this race is made a great speciality, and it has become so popular that huge sums are spent in 'getting up” each competitor. There is sure to be a large entry, and every business man in Taranaki should see that his business is represented. The entrance fee is only os., and excellent prizes are to he awarded to the successful exhibitors.
