UNTRAINED BOY LABOUR.
' fHE H()N. THUS. MACKENZIE’S SUGGESTION. (Received, 11.0 a.m.) London, February 18. A conference of educationalists is being' held at Bristol to consider the problem of untrained boy labour. A letter from the Hon. Thoe. Mackenzie was read suggesting the establishment of‘a farm to give the lads a gear’s agricultural training. New Zealand would then be able to absorb the lads in the primary industries.
