The executive committee of the Taranaki Provincial Scottish Society mot last night, when arrangements were made for the Burns’ Anniversary Dinner to be held in the Town Hall on the 24th of this month. The toast list was drawn up and a goodly array of orators of note commissioned. The musical section of the evening was also arranged and should lie a material factor in making the dinner a success. Member® intending to be present should secure their tickets early, as a rush is expected and the number is limited.
