The catalogues for the Wellington wool sales on January Bth will comprise about 25,000 bales, compared with 7506 at the corresponding series • a year ago. On Tuesday, December 17 th, I held my usual four w 7 eekly sale of above ’ produce, the catalogue comprising 9L oales and 241 sacks wool, 2638 sheep •jkihs, 23 casks, 3 kegs and 48 tins of tallow,- 723 hides and 4078 calf skim, besides the usual assortment of hair, tails, etc. Wool.—Competition for this was very keen and excited, and I have t< report a full clearance of all wool catalogued. 1 disposed of 10 baler at 9)3; 16 at 9*d,.25 at 9d, 27 a B|d, 5 at 8)3, and 2 at B|d, the tor price realised- being -10) for merino.
