Messrs Robinson and Son, or the Ready Money Store, in a replace reader advertisement in this issue wish all their old and new customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. They also have a nobby of up-to-date one-piece dresses at 37} and 40 per cent oil wholesale prices, and other goods at low prices. A notice with reference to the Bank holidays appears in another column. Mr A. Spence is giving a big Xmas bonus varying from 2s to 4s in the £ discount to every cash buyer, bee advertisements. . . Great Christmas sale is now in full swing at Mr R. D. Lowers’ of drapery, millinery, clothing, and furnishings. Mr J. H. Thompson has a number of cheap sections for sale. See replace advertisement in another column. Mr Newton King will sell 500 head of mixed cattle at his Stratford yards ion Friday. . , Mr W. B. Fearon, agent for the Phoenix Assurance Company, forwards \a useful wall calendar and diary, issued by the Company. Mr R. D. Lowers, of the Economic, (has an inset circulated with this issue in regard to Iris Christmas sale. Special reference is made to Ladies’ trimmed millinery and summer costumes, hosiery, etc., and gent’s and \boys’ suits and mercery. An experienced driver for a road roller is wanted by the Stratford County Council. Applications close on Saturday, December 28th. Mr T. Lamason advertises particulars of his haymarket and mart sales which takes place on Saturday next. Mr E. G. Foster forwards a very artistic wall calendar for 191.3. Mr Garrett E. Wilson, the complete modern house furnisher, Broadway, has a replace advertisement on page 3 of this issue. Owing to November being wet, and country customers not having had an opportunity to visit this great clearance sale, Mr Wilson has decided to continue same until the end of December. All patrons can roly on getting a square deal. . . , The solicitors’ offices in Stratford will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays from 1 p.m. on Tuesday. 24th instant, till 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Bth January.
