Store and forward cows met with very keen competition; very tew springers were yarded. At Stony River on Wednesday 11th there was a small entry with a good attendance. Competition was not brisk but most of the lines were cleared as follows: 15-mths steers £2 15s to £3 2s, small and bad coloured £1 7s 6d to £2 2s 6d, 15-months grade Jersey heifers £3 los Gel to £4 3s, grades £2 10s to £3, 2-year empty heifers £4 to £4 ss, fat cows £5 Is to £5 12s, forward cows £3 19s 6d to £4 13s 6d, small .store cows £2 17s 6d to £3 9s, bulls £2 17s to £6, cows and calves £4. 6s 6d, springing heifers £4 5s to £5 12s 6d, springing cows up to £7 12s Gd.
