N. J. King and J. Masters beat C. Sangster and T. C. Fookes for the feather trophies on Saturday afternoon. A. Black and S. M. Porritt have challenged the winners. The first championship match was played last night, when X. J. King beat G. Smart by 5 points after a well contested game, the scores be ng King 19, Smart 1-1. The green is playing splendidly and a great number of bonders are taking advantage of the fine weather. The rin ks are kept very nearly full every evening, more especially at 5 o’clock. What about the Daylight Saving Bill i The following will represent Fitzroy against Stratford on Thursday on the local green: Cook, Hill, Allen, Abbott (skip) ; Oxenham, doll, Crawshaw, llennell (skip); Avery, Callaghan, Dingle, Lcaland (skip); Morshead, .McNeill, Chivers, Smith (skip) ; Pote, Healy, Bennett, Jackson (skip). Colts: Bartlett, Waldock, Price, Hartnell (skip). The following will represent Stratford: Sanderson, Martin. McMillan, Sangster (skip); Porritt, Fookes, MacDo nald, Smart (skip): Ward, Masters, Black, King (skip) ; Brake, Reeve, Curtis, Morison (skip) : Edgecombe,' Penn, Wright, Wake (skip). The colts team will be selected to-morrow and will appear in to-morrow’s paper. All players will bring the usual plate. Play will start at J p.m.
