IMPROVEMENTS WANTED.

(To the Editor “Stratford Post.”; Sir, —The local Club are to be congratulated on the improvements effected to the course, but they have missed a far more important item—viz., the 10s tote. Most of the race meetings that I have attended run a 10s machine for the moderate backer, but the local Club evidently has no sympathy for this sort of bettor, and thereby are only catering for about half of their patrons. Another improvement would be the placing of' the number board in a more conspicuous position, so that other people besides those on the lawn can see it without carrying a pair of very powerful glasses to enable them to do so. Other clubs cater for the general public, and why not the local Club?— I am, etc., A NEEDED IMPROVEMENT. Stratford, December G, 1912.
