Messrs. Robinson and Christophers civil engineers and licensed surveyors, of Stratford and Eltham, notify that their Eltham address is care Messrs. W. H. and A. McGSarry. Curtis and Co., announce they arc sole agents for the famous “Ford” motor cars in the Stratford district. These cars combine three very essential features, viz., low lirs'c cost, absolute reliability, and economy in running. If any motorist Avants more than this he Avill not got it, and before purchasing a car should ask Messrs Curtis and Co. all about the “Ford.” There are several cars of this make in Stratford, and all have given complete satisfaction. Mr. Newton King Avill hold a sale at the Stratford Mart on Saturday, 7tb December, of a Whangamomona section and livery stable effects, by order of the mortgagee.
Owing to losing the tenancy of one of liis shops (the clothing and mercery department, and half the showroom), Mr. A. Spence is confronted with the huge task of converting into money a large portion of his stock within a short time. His tenancy of this shop expires on November 30th, and as the new tenants take possession on December Ist, there is only a limited time left to get out. No other suitable premises are available at the present time so Mr. Spence has no alternative but to endeavour to realise. He has determined to hold a great clearance sale, which commences on Saturday next, 16th inst.
