WOMAN KILLED AT HUNTLY. (Per Press Association.! Auckland, November 18. As a train from Auckland arrived at HuntJy on Saturday afternoon, a woman was seen to fall under the wheels of a passenger carriage. She was apparently step-png from the platform to the train before the latter stopped and foil between the carriage and the platform. ’ When the spectators rushed to her assistance, a wheel of the carriage was resting on the top of the woman’s body. Death had been instantaneous. The woman, who was unidentified, is about 40 years, with slight traces of Maori origin. CAB AND TRAIN 'COLLISION. Auckland, November 18. _ William Chapman, aged 41, residing at Ponsonby, while driving' a cab on Saturday night, crossed the road when leaving the -railway station and collided with a tram car. The cab wai thrown against a post and smashed into splinters. Chapman was thrown from the cab and sustained concussion of the brain and a fracture of the base of the skull. He was removed to the hospital and died yesterday. Bert Green, a Waihi miner, who was in the cab, escaped with slight injuries..
