Tho .public of Stratford are P ,oJtl ?-treat of extraordinary merit on Thursday next at the Town Hall, when the &bt Minstrels, and the Gay Makers make their appearance, ill troupe ’has been in constant P™ C^ 1C ® for the past few months, and are now well up in their work. The company includes a chorus of twenty voices, and the part singing is a featme ct tin. performance. Six real live cornermen guarantee to cause at least a smile cn two during the evening. Coon dittys, plantation melodies, and descriptive items will appeal to all, and the Arrival of Bones’ Uncle Mose is said to he a screamer. The second part of the programme is a comedietta by the Gay Makers, and this portion in itself is too good to miss. The combination includes such well known performers as Captain Lampen, Mrs. F. H. Lampen, W. Lander. F. H. Wilkie, Miss Butler. W. V. Wilson, Miss Black, and several others, well and favourably known to the Stratford audiences. Altogether the combination will give an excellent account of itself, and the pleasure loving public'and lovers of good singing are advised not to miss this performance. The promoters state that the minstrel portion is quite distinct in style from any entertainment previously given in Stratford. An excellent orchestra of seven instruments (under the leadership of Mr. Rogers) is assisting.
