The meeting was continued in miserable weather, a cold southerly rain driving over the course. The going was soft and the attendance small. Results : Middleton' Hurdles.—White Cocade 1, Fashion Plate 2, Cold Pin 3. All started. Won by three lengths. Time, 3min 27 3-ssec. Criterion Handicap.—Soldiers’ Chorus 1, Pierene 2, Ceylon 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, Irnin 30 3-ssec.
