DEATH OF MRS. (DR.) NEWMAN.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 2. Mrs Newman, wife of Dr. Newman (M.P. for Wellington East), daughter of the late Dr. Featlierston, Superintendent of the Wellington Province, diet! to-day after a long illness. Deceased was a prominent figure in local philanthropic circles and was highly respected.
