(Received 2.10 p.m.) London, October 10. A funeral service was held aboard the cruiser Forte over the spot where the submarine B2 foundered. Forty warships participated. , The Amalgamated Railwayman's Congress- instructed the executive to complete the fusion of railway trade u nions. Arnott’s oilworks at Cardiff Docks has been gutted, burning oil flowing into the canal. The fire is still rhging, and is endangering shipping. Greece and Turkey are competing for the purchase of the Chinese cruiser Chamho, which is being built at Elswick and is now ready for her steam trials. The Premier, in moving the allocation time for Home Rule said the Government proposed to give fifty sittings to the committee stage, and that there was no foundation for the charge against the Government of gagging tlie House. They were determined to pass the measure this session. The Government was considering whether Ulster day speeches were breaches of the Privy Councillors’ oath. Several Greek steamers .have been commandeered at Cardiff to transport Greek reservists resident in England.
