REVIEW IN FRANCE. Paris, September 27. M. Millerand reviewed the Aviation Corps at Villa Conblay, when 72 aeroplanes took x>art. TWO SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. (Received 8.20 a.m.) New York, September'29. , Lieutenant Kockwell and Corporal Scott, army aviators at Washington, fell 25 feet. The aeroplane was wrecked and the aviators were crushed beneath the machine. A crowd of officers witnessed the tragedy. '■Longstaff, formerly an English army officer, was flying at Hemstoad when the machine overturned and he fell 70 feet. His skull was fractured, and he will probably die.
SUDDEN DESCENT CAUSES FATALITY. (Received 8.55 a.m.) Vienna, September 29. A mishap compelled Ulner, an aviator, to .suddenly descend at Saussig, and in avoiding the crowd he alighted in a field. The propeller killed a farmer's wife and grievously injured the husband. • ARTIFICIAL- CLOUDS. (Received' 8.55 a. mf) Berlin, September 29. Captain Hilderbrand,' an aviator, states that he is/making efforts to produce artificial clouds to hide' aeroplanes. ' _'..''•
