Despite the term of disqualification imposed by the New Zeeland Council Deane, the New South Wales Leagut footballer, took part in the Hawke’s Day and Canterbury matches. Tin Council has telegraphed to the join! managers of the team to-day to tin effect that the remaining matcher would be cancelled if an assurance were not given that Deane would noi be selected in future teams.
