CAMP AT FOXTON. (Pit Press Association.) Palmerston, May 23. The Gtli Mounted Manawatu Rifles are encamped at Eoxton Racecourse tc undergo a week's training. Over foui hundred men are under canvas, and today they put in several hours' useful training. Colonel Pringle is the offi cor in command. On Wednesday even |ng the marquees erected for dining rooms were blown down, and the men this morning had to partake of breakfast in the open', but, apart from this temporary inconvenience, everything is proceeding satisfactorily.
