The Parliamentary Committee of the Trades Union Congress approves the general principles* of the Osborne Hill, but is opposed to the exemption clause. The Lancashire miners obtained a minimum of 5s to Gs (3d, boys 2s 3d to 5s 6d.
EMPLOYERS' FIGHTING FUND
(Received 17, 10.20 a.m.) Sydney, May 17. A meeting of the Employers' Federation decided to establish a fighting fund to protect common interests during industrial disturbances.
