At the third animal meeting of the Plunket Society to-night, the report stated that-during the year 175 babies had been seen and advised about; 3555 visits had been paid by the nurses to homes; parents had paid 898 visits to the office and 121 letter of advice in reply to enquiries bad been written (some enquiries coming from the North. Island). Since the movement was augurated 577 cases had been under the nurses' advice. The receipts for the year were £289 and the expenditure £lB5.
