THE CHINESE REVOLT.
TANG-SFTAO-YI WILL CANCEL THE BELGIAN LOAN. ANGRY OPIUM MERCHANT. (Received 26. 10.15 a.m.) Pekin, April 25. Tang-Shao-Yi has agreed to cancel the Belgian loan. Indian opium merchants at Shanghai complain that nine million sterling worth of opium is stored there, but they are unable to send it to the interior owing to obstruction by the Chinese authorities, who arc supporting the anti-opium movement.
