THE SOY SCOUTS.
A special meeting of the Boy Scouts was held last evening in the Parish Hall, when several boys wevQ examined and passed their tests for the Tenderfoot and Second-class Badges. A similar meeting will bo held this evening at 7.30 for the instruction of those wishing to prepare for their badges as First-class Scouts. Further tests will be conducted on Saturday in Victoria Park at 1.30, to be followed by cooking and felling tests in the Vicarage paddocks. The usual general Scout meeting will be held on Thursday at 7.30 in the Fire Brigade Hall, when every Scout must bring his staff and triangular bandage.
