Mr Blair’; dog Jum put up a splendid perform anco in the second event, his work he ing very nearly faultless, while Mt H. Lambert’s Dice was but very lit tie inferior. On the whole the meeting proved most enjoyable and on doubt in time visitors will oorne from all parts of the province. Great excitement was caused on the second day, when it was found that Mr 13. Boyle had- tied with Mr V. Xolan for the possession of the Club’s Cup, which is given to the owner or the local dog scoring most points at the meeting. Both these competitors have agreed to let the judge decide

on his notes who shall have possession for the ensuing year. The following are the results of the different events: Class f.—Head, bring back, and hold in ring; about a quarter of a mile; first prize £5, second £2 10s, third £1; points, heading 10, command 8, hauling 8, holding 4, total 30.
