FACTORY EMPLOYERS’ ANNUAL ■ PICNIC. The Midhirst Dairy Factory emjloyees’ annual picnic and sports was held on Thursday last, proving a .uost enjoyable aifair. Many visitors Torn other parts were present, and in .he evening a very successful dance .vas held. The weather conditions vere not at all favourable, otherwise the meeting would probably have been iroin every point of view tiie best that :ho factory people have yet held. Mr. I Hogg and Mr. F. Kleoman are o be complimented on jdie excellence r the arrangements, and the satisfactory manner in which the sports were run. A special word of praise is due to the orchestra, whose services were most appreciated. They comprised dessrs. Rogers, Everiss, and Burmcster, and the Misses Rogers.
