The ordinary meeting of the Donain Board, which was to have been held yesterday afternoon, was susicnded. The eleventh annual meeting under lie auspices of the Egmont Sheep Oog Trial Club will commence on I lie's day, March 12, and extend to I'hursday, March 14. The trials this year twill be held on Mr. D. J. Wilis’ property, Opeke Downs, Whareoa Road. " There will be four classes for competitors, for which £SO in cash nines will he awarded, besides special prizes, trophies, and cups. Mr. J. Hair, who is undertaking the secre■irial duties, is doing everything posable to ensure the thorough success if the contest. The trials are always jopular, and the public this year may igain look forward to witnessing interesting competitions.
