Maldant made the running to the straight, it was a great finish, Queen of Scots winning by threes quarters of a length, Pride or M'mlio a length and a half away third. Time, Imin 7$ sec. Federal Stakes.—Walwa 1, Lintie 2, Count Traquar 3. There were 21 starters. Won by a length. Time, Imin I;, 1 sec. Caulfield, February 18. Warren Hurdles.—-Home .Rule f, Battery 2, Yield 3. Eight starters. Won by six lengths. Time, 3min ssec. St. George’s Stakes.—Trafalgar 1, Comedy King 2, Wilari 3. There were ten starters. Trafalgar went to the front at the mile and a half, and "•as never headed, winning by a length and a half,Wilari three lengths away. Time, Imin 53;, 1 sec. Bond Cup.—Eyeglass I, Indiscreet 2, Bawbee 3. There were ten starters, including Mary Seaton and Gunboat. The winner took charge at the distance, and won easily by a length and three-quarters, five lengths between second and third. Time, 2min l^see.
