IRISH HOME RULE.
IS TROUBLE LOOKED FORWARD
TO AT BELFAST?
TROOPS REMAIN IN THE TOWN. London, February 10. The troops at Belfast will not be withdrawn until Monday. THE NON-CONFORMIST /ATTITUDE. (Received 12, 8.55 a.m.) London, February 11. The Rev. R. F. Horton, formerly chairman of the Congregational Union of England and .Wales, writing to the “Times,” says Non-conformists in England and Wales understand Ulster’s dread of Rome. Non-conform-ists feel compelled by political principles to support Home Rule. If Ulster’s fears were realised, much shifting of population would take place. He personally hoped that the large Irish population in English cities would drift back to Ireland and the Protestants in Ireland would return to England and Scotland.
