London, February 8. Lord Rothschild, speaking at Tnng, said the first duty of the Unionists on regaining power would be to repeal the Parliament ■ Act, reform the House of Lords, and suspend the insurance scheme, until it Had been moulded in conformity with the wishes of the people. He dikliked taxes on food, but as the time was approachiiio* when Australia, Canada and Smith Africa would be able to supply all that was required it would be very tempting to give preference and send them more manufactured goods.
