AUCKLAND WATERSIDERS
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, January 24. There was a large meeting of waterside workers this morning, work being •impended between eight and ten. The lolegatos to the conference in Wclington having explained the agrecnont arrived at it .was endorsed by i resolution carried amidst cheering. Iheers were also given for Mr Semple, ho Federation organiser. A conference is. .proceeding this afternoon beween local representatives of the Vaterside Workers’ Union and reiresentativos of the shipping commnies which cited the men before the Conciliation Council. It is anticipatd that they will adopt the terras of he agreement arranged at the Welington conference. .< .
