LIST OF SUCCESSFUL TARANAKI CANDIDATES. (Per Press Association ) "Wellington, January 11. Following is the list of Taranaki candidates that, at the Education Department’s examinations of November and December last, qualified by examination for Education Board junior scholarships, or, through the scholarshop examination, for junior free places in secondary schools, district high schools, and technical schools. The names arc arranged in order of merit, with total marks gained by the candidates out of the possible of 800 marks. Candidates in this list, on satisfying the Education Board of their eligibility in other respects, ago included, will he eligible . to receive scholarships up to the limit of number of scholarships available. Those who do not receive scholarships may receive junior free places. A further list of candidates who have qualified in special examination for junior free places will follow later.
