The rifle shooting meeting was continued to-day in heavy continuous rain. The Manawatu Match was won hy Sergt. Simmonds (Waitolii), 49, £4; Rfm. Walker (Christchurch), 48, £2 10s; Ilfm. Willoughby (Wanganui), 48, £2. Other prize-takers were— McTvor (Wellington), Oliver (Ohura), Balthrop (Feilding), R. J. King (Opaki), Quarterman (Wanganui), Rovers (Taradalo), all 47. The Mastcrton Match is proceeding.
