A lady and gentleman among the Dawson’s Falls holiday contingent spent their Christmas Eve, and for that matter, a good part of Christmas Day, lost on the inhospitable slopes of Mount Egmont. Neither were attired for a “night out” on the Mountain, and the gentleman spent the night in his shirt sleeves, in older that his companion might have more protection than a thin blouse offered. The feelings of those safe at the Falls while Sunday night’s storm was raging can well he imagined. At four o’clock in the morning a search party of sixteen set out, and after some time they were successful in finding the lost ones, in the viciir'ty of Hastie’s Hill, none the worse for their unpleasant experience.
