Wellington, December 23. In a special general order published to-day, General Godley refers in terms of high appreciation to the work of the officers of the New Zealand staff corps and of the warrant officers and non-commissioned officers of the permanent staff during the past year. He also placed on record his appreciation of the way in which the territorial officers helped the permanent officers of the staff.
