Mr Coombes, president of the Australasian Athletic Union, is a passenger by the Victoria, which has sailed for New Zealand, and attends the championship meeting, also the conference to discuss the Olympic team and the board of control over the union.
Melbourne, December 20. Both Federal Houses are working at high pressure with a view to the Christmas adjournment. The Estimates are under consideration. The Senate passed tho Loan Bill. The list of the Huddart-Parker’s new company has closed. The proposed capital of £1,500,000 was largely over-subscribed.
