CARNIVAL WEEK.

IN AID OF FIRE BRIGADE FUNDS

SPLENDID PROGRESS

A treat is in store for local residents and visitors during race week, or rather Stratford’s Carnival Week, for, commencing on race night at the Town Hall, Professor Owen Cardston, who is under engagement to the Stratford Fire Brigade, together with 200 performers, inaugurated the much-talk-ed-of dancing carnival. Active rehearsals are in progress, and the Professor is astonished at the wonderful progress already made. A' feature of the carnival is the nightly change of programme, that will eventuate. For so worthy a cause, crowded houses should be the rule. Seats may ho i reserved on application at Grubb’s ' Music Warehouse.
