CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. ON 23rd December, Special Passenger Trains will leave Te Wera for Stratford at 6 p.m., and Stratford for Te Wera at 3.45. p.m. and 9.30. p.m. The usual 7 p.m. Stratford-Te Wera train will NOT run. A special passenger train will leave New Plymouth 10.30 p.m., Inglewood 11.53 p.m., arriving Stratford 12.45 a.m. On 25th December the following trains only will run:— The Ordinary Mail trains.. The 7.40 a.m. and 4.20 p.m. trains, Now Plymouth to Ha wera. The 7.20 a.m. and 4.5 p.m. trains Ha wera to New Plymouth. t The 4.5 p.m. train, Hawera to New Plymouth, will be accelerated, and runs as follows: —Hawera depart 1.5 p.m., Stratford 5.33, arriving New Plymouth 7.28 p.m. There will be No Train Service on the Toko Branch. HOLIDAY EXCURSION Tickets, available for return until 13th February, will be issued from any station to any station on the North Island Main Line and Branches from loth December to 2nd January, inclusive. Tickets at Holiday Excursion Fares, available same dates, will also be issued from any officered station on North Island Main Line and Branches (excepting Wellington) to any officered station on the South Island Main Line and Branches (excepting Lyttelton). No goods or live stock will be conveyed on 25th and 26th December and 1 st January, and goods sheds will be CLOSED on those days. For further particulars see posters. BY ORDER.
