DEGENERATED INTO A MATTER OF GATE MONEy. REGULATIONS DEEMED SUFFICIENT. (Received 8, 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, December S. The Legislative Council discussed the question of prize-fighting. One member declared that it was disgraceful, and degenerated into a matter of gate money. Mr. Flowers could see no good in going to extremes. As long as there were suitable regulations reasonable men ought to be satisfied.
