RUSSIA AND PERSIA.
MR. SHUSTER’S POSITION. (Received 4, 8.45 a.m.) London, December 3. Mr. Shuster angrily denies Sir Edward Grey’s statement that ho is annoying Russia by Anglicising the Persian service, and alleges that he dismissed several British officials. The American Government has taken steps to ensure Mr. Shuster’s protection.
