The Federal Government is to be asked to appoint a Commission to investigate tno present system of telephones, telegraphs, and mail delivery with a view to reform. A MARQUIS DROWNED. London, December 3. Obituary: The. Marquis of Waterford. He was found in the River Clodagn, adjoining his residence, Carraghmore. Death was apparently accidental.

Lindrura made a break of 384, of which 480 were off the red ball. MISSING PEOPLE. (Received 4, 8.45 a.m.) London, December 3. The “Gazette” recently announced the cancellation of the Rev. F. P. Farrar’s chaplaincies to the King and Queen Alexandra. Mrs Farrar’s brother, who has arrived from America, cannot trace the two Farrars since they left Sandringham Rectory.
SUFFRAGETTE RELEASED. (Received 9, 8.45 a.m.) London, December 3. Mrs Pethick Lawrence has been released on bail. The legality of her conviction has been questioned, the principal witness not having been sworn. THE, SANGER MURDER. (Received 4, 8.45 a.m.) London, December 3. The verdict of the Coroner’s jury was that Cooper, who murdered Sanger, was insane. The evidence showed that the accusation of theft preyed on his mind.
