At a recent meeting, profits from municipal undertakings were allotted as follows; £ Electric lighting ... 6,000 Pier. .'‘ ' 7 "... ... 4,000 Tramways * ... ... 1,000 Military band performances 500 Total 11,500 The'whole of this sum , went in reduction of rates.—l aim, etc., • ' PROGRESSIVE.
