ANNEXATION.

THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. CHAMP CLARK’S VIEWS. (Received 29, 8.5 a.in.) New York, November 28. Mr. Champ Clark denies that lie ever really favoured the annexation of Canada. He would bo the first to vote against such a project if offered to the United States. It was the most preposterous canard, ever put in type since Guttenberg inverted punting. He frequently expressed the hope that the two countries would unite in mutual agreement. Never for a moment had he thought of forcible annexation.
