AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. A hi”; change of pictures taker, place at His Majesty’s Theatre thisevening. Among the dramatic pictures shown will bo the great cowboy and Indian drama entitled the “Carrier Pigeon.” The opening of the picture shows the hero, Jack, whispering tales of love to Molly, his young sweetheart; but lie is rebuked. Jack, who. is in the habit of taking witji him his favourite carrier pigeon on his lonely trips of driving tiic gold waggon, sends the bird back with different passages of love to his sweetheart Molly. One day the waggon is stopped by an Indian, but is quietly driven olf, and the Indian plans with others of his tribe to rob the escort; so a few days afterwards they await the waggon in ambush. Happily Jack has his carrier pigeon concealed in the waggon, and releases the bird when attacked by the desperadoes, tying a message to its neck asking for help. The bird flics direct to Molly, who upon reading the message at once informs the cowboys, who after some hot lighting utterly rout the Indians.

The present programme consists of star dramatic, scenic, comic and industrial films of a high order. The performance commences sharp at 8 o’clock. Several of the films are of the latest Kincmacolor, shown for the first time in New Zealand and are faithful reproductions of nature’s colours. PICTURES AT 'THE TOWN HALL. A grand picture entertainment will he given in the Town Hall on Tuesday, November 28th, by the Crystal Palace Eireworks , Company. During the evening selections will he played by the Stratford Orchestra.
