THE PREMIER’S ACTION OVER PENSIONS. (Per Press Association.) New Plymouth, November 20. A special meeting of the Taranaki branch of the Veterans’ Association on Saturday passed a resolution thanking those members of Parliament who supported the petition for military pensions, and expressing surprise at the treatment it received from the Premier, which was characterised as an insult to those who had fought for the country.
